Amos was always a comfort-over-fashion kinda guy. Even on his wedding day, he chose a nice, comfy suit that had a little bit of stretch and give. It was a beautiful and rare 70° day in October. The sun was just about beamin’ down on Amos. But the wind was cool and for once the humidity didn’t feel like it was going to drown them all.
Amos and his new wife were crossin’ over to the reception. Wedding guests hopped into the second line left and right. The Natchez joined right on in, rollin’ down the river. The band kept everyone’s feet light. The air kept people comfortable. The Natchez kept good company. And as Amos and his wife paraded down the riverside to the reception venue, they were hopin’ some real good comfort food awaited them on the best day of their lives.
Good thing they got y’all to cater. Seeing y’all in your comfy cotton outfits set them right at ease. And Amos and his wife know they’ve got some good food to eat.
